Meet Dinah
I strive to provide therapy within an empathetic, safe, and nonjudgmental space. Together, we will explore the patterns, motivations, and emotional blocks that are preventing you from living contently. Whatever your challenges: anxious loops, negative thoughts, relationship difficulties, or stressors that come with transitions, including lifestyle, career changes, and postpartum, we will work through your experiences together. I understand that every individual is unique, and therefore I will create a therapeutic environment that is catered to your needs.
My approach is rooted in Psychodynamic Therapy; however, I draw upon other modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness techniques in order to address immediate discomfort, while also helping you gain personal insight that will lead to healing and growth.
I graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and received a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling at New York University. I welcome clients of all backgrounds and identities, and look forward to helping you on your path to insight and healing.
